I have just started the Xero advisor certification equivalency course. I am ACCA qualified and looking to get Xero trained before bringing clients on board. My colleagues were not charged but I seem to have had to pay £30. Does anyone know why some charge and some dont for this course...or have i enrolled on the wrong course!?

Maybe they've brought it in due to extra interest. I did a summer camp for free years ago. They even sent me a turquoise T shirt for passing!
If you do the certification as a standalone it's £30 but if you are registered as a Xero Partner it's free.
ACCA provide members with a promo code to enable members to claim free entry onto the Xero Equivalency training course which runs separately to the regular training Xero provides to accounting and bookkeeping practices.
The Xero Equivalency course is really designed for people who are not intending to work with Xero in conjunction with clients, so I’d suggest you may be better advised to join the standard Xero Certification training that we provide for free to practices.
If you ping [email protected] then he can advise you which path is the best one to take in your circumstances.
