Ive linked my first Xero client to my ASA for MTD and submitted their return.
The client can now only see the submitted return, rather than the upcoming one that he used to be able to see pre-MTD. From looking at Xero’s help centre, it seems that he has to create his own G’ment Gateway and connect Xero himself, just to see his next vat return.
Is that right? Is there a workaround?

Is he going to complete his next VAT return ?
If not, why does he want to "see" it ?
If he is, yes, I think he'll need to register on a Gateway of his own.
If you go into the client's user privileges on Xero and tick the MTD permission box, does that solve it? Does the client have read-only access or full?
