Xero partner edition or business edition

Didn't find your answer?

I am thinking about using Xero for my own practice book-keeping/invoicing etc. I'm not going to be adding multiple clients to the sub ( maybe one or two at some point) so I am wondering if there is any point in signing up as an accounting practice partner. The partner edition would give access to the corrections tool etc and an option for cashbook versions to work on client accounts but will  I be bombarded by Xero looking to get to me sign up clients etc ?  What is your experience ?

Why use Xero for your own accounts if you have no intention of becoming a partner?

It's likely they will contact you now and again to see if you are going to add clients.

Otherwise they are just giving you a free account which isn't in their interests.

I'm assuming most Xero partners will have at least one client on Xero, I don't know their view on partners having none and not intending to add any
