Copy and paste?

Join in with what exactly? You appear to have just copied and pasted a chunk of the news story from AccountingWeb in a way that really doesn't fit the forum template very well. Are you expecting us to join him in playing the game? Join others in criticising him? Join the Houses of Parliament ourselves?

It is addictive though

I must admit Candy Crush is addictive though - I am currently on a 'break' from it, but may go back during the Christmas hols.

Spice?

Reminds me of my childhood. We never said sweets or candy. We called them 'spice' and used to torment our dad for some money so we could go get some spice from the shop (which was a garage selling petrol and did repairs, but they had a little sweet shop inside). We lived in the sticks and there wasn't a proper shop for miles.

Still common

Still a common word round here.  My wife doesn't speak the local language and we converse through a lingua franca of English.
