The Guardian and other news outlets are reporting that 600,000 outstanding payments will not be completed until Saturday after yet another technical SNAFU at RBS.
The bank tweeted earlier: “Some customer payments are missing this morning – we are investigating this issue as a matter of urgency.”
Affected customers who needed funds urgently were advised to get in touch with the bank immediately.
