Get it from barclays
If you join Barclays professional partners scheme you get that plus several other pieces of software as part of the subscription.

Personally I didn't rate it that much, but I'm quite impatient and you need to spend time making sure the data is correctly entered.

As a former Corp Fin chappie...

I tried it a few times in different versions and have always concluded that its a bit of a waste of time. The best numbers software I have ever used - other than an excel spreadsheet - was Sage Winforecast and the written bit is always far better from a word document.

PaloAlto

Many thanks to both

I suppose I am looking for something that does not exist-a simple piece of software to write a business plan to cover start ups and small businesses

Probably easier to construct one myself!

Euan, I had considered this softare as well. Please give a bit more info as to its strengths. Can it be used to create a set of financial projections for example ?

@ zarathustra

Zarathustra,

Euans link does not lead to the software, but rather a wine website... which is, I am sure we will all agree, much more interesting!
