CIPP tackles auto enrolment capacity crunch

The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) has launched a new training programme to help companies comply with automatic enrolment (AE) responsibilities and “capacity crunch” issues.

The help comes at a time when Sage’s omnibus survey recently found a third of small businesses aren’t planning to seek any advice on pensions despite fears of a coming AE tsunami in the months ahead. One in 10 of respondents didn’t even know about auto enrolment, while around half said they won’t be communicating the changes to employees.
