Nick Leeson may have caused the collapse of 233-year-old investment bank Barings in 1995, but he now has a new role - as an insolvency practitioner in Ireland.

Leeson, who has been living in Ireland for 10 years, will take on his new role with GDP Partnership as head of their new Dublin office.

He will mediate on behalf of distressed borrowers from Irish banks with debts of more than €1m (£850,000) and help them negotiate a deal.
