Rangers shareholder faces HMRC tax inquiry

HMRC has launched a criminal inquiry into tax schemes sold by Rangers Football Club's key shareholder Richard Hughes. 

The Revenue is investigating 17 companies set up by Hughes, according to The Times

Hughes is co-founder of Zeus Capital, which is not under investigation but is at the centre of the football club takeover.
