The company formations and secretarial specialist Jordans has expanded into providing legal services this year. John Stokdyk talks to Jordans legal practice director Debbie Farman about her plans.

Jordans Corporate Law Ltd gained its licence to operate as an alternative business structure (ABS) from the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) in September. As its director, Debbie Farman is the compliance officer for the new legal practice - known in the trade as its COLP. Now the outfit has negotiated the regulatory hurdles, Farman is concentrating on her main priority, which is providing non-contentious corporate and commercial legal advice to the professional services market.
