Ah, Mongolia. Boiled sheep bits. Yurts. Absolutely no fences anywhere. Mongolia celebrates the anniversary of its independence from China today - it broke away in 1923. Bet you didn't think you were going to learn that when you logged on this morning. And actually, today is also the anniversary of the first transatlantic satellite television communication (which happened in 1962). So when we saw this picture of a Mongolian Yurt dweller with an absolutely massive TV dish outside his tent we thought we could kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

The winner of the caption competition for the second week running is Andy Partridge. Congratulations Andy; a bottle of Rhone red (Crozes-Hermitage Les Meysonniers 2003 M.Chapoutier) or a bottle of Italian white (Orvieto Classico Superiore San Giovanni 2006) depending on your preference will be on its way to you.

His winning caption was:

Yes it's fantastic. I got the first 3G Iphone. I can surf the web at speeds you wouldn't believe, it fits neatly in my pocket and the battery life is great.

Any problems?

Well only one, not worth mentioning really. The aerial won't fit in the car.
