My week so far

Hello underlings. Well apparently it is the done thing to publicly prostrate oneself here, and share the trivia of one's livelihood. So this is an update on yours truly.

Thursday 25 June 2015

I did not do Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday this week on account of an ailment that I inherited from a large bottle of Gin on Sunday evening.

Had a new client come in to see me this morning; a lovely young lady named Mary.

Mary is just setting herself up as a sheep farmer; she is still establishing her flock, and only has the one animal so far, which is very young.

It is a delightful creature, with the whitest coat I think I have ever seen.

Yes, I saw it; she brought it with her. Well, when I say she brought it with her, it was more a case of it came with her. It follows her around apparently; she cannot shake it off. Well, you would not want to would you; lose your entire flock before you have even started, I mean.

Mary also does a bit of supply teaching. She made me laugh out loud when she told me about how her flock made its way to work after her. Apparently all the kids found it a fairly raucous event as well, although Mary did get into trouble for taking her flock in with her.

In other news, I am thinking about taking up poetry as a second career, and may even compose a little ditty about Mary. Who knows!

Love it!

Great to see you back.

Agree, make this a regular blog. Great to see my concept being maintained. Not many have that talent/guts to blog.

I do not mind the mickey being taken.

Excellent stuff
Hoping your next client might be the vertically challenged young lady by the name of Muffet.

Maybe
If you're taking nursery rhyme clients, you could take on humpty dumpty. I've googled the official version but I'm still not happy with it and I still don't know why he's depicted as an egg.

You need to read Alice through the Looking Glass. If he had not been an egg, he might have been a tree.

Careful Portia

I once started a blog under an old profile that had a joke entry and the mods removed it and banned me; apparently all blogs must be deadly serious.

Hmmm
You do not seem to be very banned?

The phrase

The phrase you have overlooked is 'under an old profile' :)

As in, AW threw the book at me, so I bit my tongue for a few months then came back lesson learned.

Or I would have, if I knew what the lesson was ('frivolity has no place on AW'?).

We've all passed a lot of water since then though. :)
