This blog post is really just to say Happy Christmas to everyone on Aweb. The Christmas holiday is now tantalisingly close - just the pesky stock take to do, and final payroll.
A couple of big customers also paid up - so year end cash balance should be good. In this era of abbreviated accounts, the year end cash is one of the few factors that are 'out there' and has a big influence on credit rating.
I recommend working in SME manufacturing - you do tend to get a decent shutdown.
Good luck to everyone for 2016 - especially to those with a busy January.
A bit early for new year's resolutions - I need to think of achievable ones this year...

Stop about 5pm Christmas Eve - possibly later if the women in my wife's family haven't finished preping the veg for Christmas dinner - I don't want to get lumbered ;o)
Do a bit between Christmas and New Year to keep my sanity - only so many family gatherings I can cope with (15 at mine Christmas Day and 15 + 5-10 extra Boxing Day). I'll be glad when its out of the way.
