A festive round-up of some recent updates in FreeAgent

With Christmas just around the corner, award-winning accounting software provider FreeAgent is finishing the year with a bumper haul of product updates. 

FreeAgent’s Cashflow and Banking features

Cashflow

FreeAgent’s Cashflow feature automatically builds a near-term cashflow forecast for your clients based on the data in their FreeAgent accounts. Clients can now set their manually added monthly costs, which FreeAgent includes in their cashflow forecasts, as recurring. 

Banking

In FreeAgent’s Banking feature, clients can now explain bank transactions as ‘Money Paid To User’ in non-native currency accounts. In addition, they can now sort ‘unexplained’ and ‘for approval’ bank transactions alphabetically, for quicker categorisation.

Meanwhile, the ability for clients to explain bank transactions in bulk has now been added to four new transaction types.

The FreeAgent mobile app for clients

Clients who have level 7 and level 8 access to a FreeAgent account can now create and amend expenses for other users of that account using FreeAgent’s mobile app for iOS and Android.

Android users of FreeAgent’s award-winning mobile app for clients can now approve bank transactions in bulk using the app. This feature will be coming soon for iOS users.
