Imagine a world where payroll bureaus can simply click a button to request employee hours from their client's payroll? Fortunately for bureaus, the impossible is now possible. BrightPay Connect’s newest feature gives payroll bureaus the ability to send payroll requests to their clients through to their online, employer dashboard.

The Payroll Entry Request enables the client to add employee timesheets and hours, which has now been described as “a godsend for payroll bureaus” by payroll bureaus who have adapted BrightPay Connect. On the bureau dashboard, users simply select the client they want to send the request to and choose the employees and pay frequencies to include in the request.

Clients will then receive an automated email notification of the Payroll Entry Request where they can login to their BrightPay Connect employer dashboard to upload their employees’ hours and payments. Payroll bureaus simply need to click a button in the payroll software to pre-populate the employee payments and then finish processing the payroll.

Not only does this feature offer an additional layer of GDPR protection for clients payroll data, but it also drastically reduces the bureau's workload. Eliminate the time-consuming task of manually inputting employee payments while reducing the risk of human error.

The second client request option allows payroll bureaus to request client approval for the payroll summary statement. This option enables bureaus to send clients a payroll summary report before the payroll has been finalised, which the client can then review and approve from within BrightPay Connect.

Again, this feature improves GDPR compliance by eliminating the need to send the document with sensitive personal information via email, while also synchronising in real time to reduce your workload.
