We’re delighted to announce that BrightPay is the first payroll software provider to offer API Integration with Aviva.

We’ve worked closely with Aviva to make BrightPay’s pension data submission as easy as possible for our customers to use. Employers can utilise the API Aviva integration where they can send their pension files directly through to the Aviva web portal directly from the payroll dashboard.

API is the acronym for Application Programming Interface, which is a process that allows two applications to talk to each other. For example, each time you use an app like Facebook, check the weather on your phone or send an instant message, you’re using an API program.

This API innovation simplifies the exchange or sending of information between employers and Aviva by enabling our payroll software to ‘talk’ to Aviva. It means employers can more effectively manage the data submission of their pension scheme file through our software. The benefits of the Aviva API with BrightPay allows users to directly submit their pension files through to the Aviva web portal.

Data processing errors will be reduced by eliminating the need to log into two systems at once. This saves both time and administration effort. Processing times will be much faster as you will be able to submit data in just a few clicks! This removes the need to manually export your data file and upload back into the pension scheme portal.
