Bulk complete tasks and Xavier integration

Welcome to our April update. We are hoping that everyone is staying well and safe during this difficult time.

Our team has temporarily moved from working in our Bristol office to working from home. During this time we are ensuring that we continue to provide you with great quality support and services. We spent the last few months busy preparing for our first event, Senta Discovery. We are very happy with how the day went and it was a real pleasure to meet so many of you in person. Please see the Events section below to find out more about what happened on the day.

Company news

Back in February, we welcomed a new support team member, Loma. Loma started working with computers as a designer, moving into website administration and merchandising for a range of indies and startups. She spent four years as part of the management team running an independent streetwear shop's online presence, from order flow to social media, then moved into client success for an ecommerce tech start-up. Now she's getting her teeth stuck into Senta, learning about a new industry and is loving it!

Senta Discovery 2020

On March 11th we held our first-ever event exclusively for Senta clients, which sold out within two weeks of the tickets being on sale. We held the conference at Engine Shed in Bristol, the original birthplace of Senta.

The day was hosted by accountancy authority Richard Sergeant and was jam-packed with industry-leading experts talking about operating, growing and future-proofing practices.

We were thrilled to have Xero, GoCardless, GoProposal, Xavier, The Gap, PracticeWeb and CircleLoop (our new integration with Senta) exhibiting at Senta Discovery too. They had exclusive offers for all the attendees and mentioned they were able to have really interesting and in-depth conversations with our clients. 

There was also the chance to meet the team behind Senta and to book a Support Surgery to have a one-to-one meeting and ask questions about Senta.

The conference was a great success and practices said the day was interesting and insightful, and that they left feeling excited - which is exactly what we wanted to achieve from the day.

Ending on a high, we had Pizzarova join us for the evening - hand-making and freshly cooking their pizzas on-site… and we can definitely say that the pizzas went down really well!

The feedback we received from the attendees was amazing and we are speechless about all the lovely things people had to say about Senta Discovery. We would like to thank everyone who attended for making our first-ever event happen.

New features

Bulk complete tasks

We are excited to announce a new bulk complete feature for tasks, which allows you to select multiple tasks within a task list or job and complete them in one go.

Xavier integration

We recently added in a new integration to Senta, which allows you to pull the Xavier health score from clients onto a client’s Xero tab. This health score will give you an idea of the health of a client’s books in Xero, helping you make decisions about how best to advise your clients.

Senta User Groups

We run a user group webinar every quarter, with the most recent one on March 5th. The next one is planned for Thursday 28th May. If you would like to be part of the next user group, please sign up here.

Facebook group

The Senta community Facebook group is a place where any users or prospective users can ask questions about Senta, get help, exchange ideas and suggest features.
