Accountex, now in its fifth year, has seen an increase in financial services providers gearing up to exhibit at the 2016 event, held at London ExCeL on 11-12 May.

With nearly 200 companies exhibiting, ABN AMRO is one of the latest big name exhibitors to sign up, with a targeted proposition aimed specifically at accountants.

The firm will use the show to promote its Business Growth Fund to attendees – an incentive used by clients to access a broader range of services from an accountancy practice.  This follows hot on the heels of other companies in the sector confirming their attendance, including LDF, Niche FS, Growth Street, Rangewell, Funding Knights Alpha Bridging, Gemini Finance and Ultimate Finance.

“At ABN AMRO Commercial Finance, we understand the critical role of accountants in aiding UKbusiness growth.  We’re also aware of the numerous challenges facing the accountancy community in 2016, not least the increasing pressure to add extra value to their service offering to clients.

We are therefore delighted to be part of the upcoming Accountex event, and we look forward to welcoming attendees to better understand their challenges and opportunities and to showcasing our products,” says Peter Ewen, managing director at ABN Amro Commercial Finance.

The Asset Based Finance Association has also confirmed they will be exhibiting at the event.  ABFA CEO Jeff Longhurt, says:  “We are delighted to join Accountex so we can engage with accountants and other key stakeholders, in order to support our members and the broader industry.”

“As an emerging sector of the exhibition, and a vital component for businesses to operate and grow, we are pleased to be able to offer our accountant visitors more options for their clients’ financing requirements through more exhibitors and increased seminar content over the two days,” comments Tom King of Accountex, who goes on to add that the show is close to being sold out, with exhibition space selling significantly faster than in previous years.

Accountex covers the full spectrum of accountancy professionals and enjoys the active support of all the relevant industry associations and training bodies, including CPD Standards Office; CIOT Chartered Institute of Taxation; ATT – Association of Taxation Technicians; AIA – The Association of International Accountants; IFA – Institute of Financial Accountants; ICPA – Institute of Certified Practice Accountants; ICB – The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers; GAAP – GAAPweb; FTA – Federation of Tax Advisers; CIMA – Chartered Institute of Management Accountants; BASDA – The Business Application Software Developers Association.  Media partners include AccountingWEB (headline partner), Economia, and Ten Alps media.

Accountex returns to ExCeL London on 11-12 May 2016.  The event is open to all accountancy professionals and free tickets can be booked on the website at www.accountex.co.uk.
