If you have clients with NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland or Ulster Bank NI-funded FreeAgent accounts, they can now pay supplier bills directly from within their FreeAgent accounts, thanks to our new Payit™ integration. This new functionality will save your clients a lot of time normally spent going back and forth between their bank account and FreeAgent.

How does it work?

Payit™, provided by NatWest, is a fast and simple way to make payments. The service uses Open Banking to let your clients make secure payments from their NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland or Ulster Bank NI accounts to any other major UK bank from inside FreeAgent. It’s completely free to use and no fees are applied.

Your clients simply need to access the ‘Bills’ section of their FreeAgent account and click the Payit™ button to initiate a payment and then authorise the payment through online banking.

Once this is complete your client will then be directed back to FreeAgent and the bill will be marked as ‘Payment approved’. When the payment transaction is imported into FreeAgent it will be reconciled with the bill automatically.

You can find out more about how Payit™ works in our Knowledge Base.
