The team at leading cloud-based accounts and audit workpapers platform, MyWorkpapers, is celebrating after being named 23rd fastest-growing technology company in the UK in the 2020 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, having grown by 1,891 per cent in just four years.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the UK, based on percentage revenue growth over the last four years.

Offering the options of customisable workpapers packs, including Year-end and Audit from Mercia and HAT Group, MyWorkpapers unlocks all the benefits of the cloud in terms of remote and multi-site working, business resilience and paperless working.

It then combines these inherent benefits of the cloud with an innovative and flexible platform, designed around the needs of users, enabling oversight, collaboration, accountability and quality control.

Rich Neal, CEO, at MyWorkpapers, attributes the firm’s rapid growth in large part to the effectiveness of this innovative cloud platform in helping accountancy and audit firms achieve rapid increases in profitability.

He said: “The inherent benefits of the cloud are obvious, but what really makes a difference to our clients is the framework our innovative platform provides for streamlining and rationalising their workflows.

“Features such as checklists, audit trails of work carried out and the ability for partners and managers to assign jobs to specific members of staff mean that practices can be more methodical than ever.

“Then, our wide range of integrations with bookkeeping apps, including our new two-way Xero integration, means we can help our clients achieve significant efficiencies.

“Our clients have then been able to improve their profitability not only directly from these efficiencies, but also from indirect factors such as being able to increase home working, even before the pandemic, and having more time for senior staff to devote to more profitable advisory services and business development.

“We are delighted to have been able to provide such significant benefits to our clients, which ultimately have seen us become the 23rd fastest-growing technology company in the UK.

“This is an achievement our whole team can be proud of.”

He added that recent agreements to bring content to clients of the likes of Mercia and the HAT Group, as well as the accelerated trend towards working from home, means that the firm’s rapid growth looks set to continue.

Duncan Down, lead partner for the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50, said: “The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 shines a spotlight on the UK’s fast-growing technology companies and is internationally revered as one of the most important business awards in the industry”.

“Achieving sustained revenue growth of 1,891 per cent over four years is a tremendous accomplishment.

“MyWorkpapers’ exceptional growth puts it in select company.”
