New workflow from Senta to manage furlough claims

Making your life easier

This new workflow automates the information collection for the furlough scheme and reminds accountants and clients to record details of furlough claims on a regular basis. If you have multiple clients with multiple furlough claims, it’s going to take out a lot of the leg work. You can assign the forms to your clients and request that they fill in the required information directly. This workflow will make your life easier if you’re submitting claims on behalf of clients or you’re responsible for any payroll tasks.

The latest on the furlough scheme*
At the time of writing (!), the scheme has been extended to the end of April 2021. As you know already, the government will cover 80% of furloughed workers’ wages, while employers will need to pay National Insurance and pension contributions; this may change when the scheme is reassessed at the end of January 2021.
