Pandle Feature: Receipt Uploads Help Users Go Paperless

The innumerable documents, files and receipts accountants have to deal with means it’s inevitable that at least one thing will go missing and even if it doesn’t, all the paper we deal with on a daily basis can only make you feel guilty about your carbon footprint.

That’s why we’re pleased to announce that we’ve launched a new feature that will enable our Pandle Pro users to upload receipts directly into Pandle – cutting out the need for extra paper.

This means that users will be able to simply take a picture of their receipts and then attach them to their transactions. Not only will you not have to deal with piles of receipts, but everything will be in one place – so you don’t have to go hunting for something you may or may not have thrown away.

Simplifying bookkeeping for clients

And it’s not just a trick accountants can enjoy. Clients who are forever forgetting to keep their receipts filed will hugely benefit from our latest new feature.

Currently available on our Web app, we’ll be bringing Receipt Uploads to Pandle Mobile in the near future. Once active, it will mean users have the option to upload and store receipts on the go at any time or place – cutting out the hassle all together for those forgetful clients.

This will be particularly handy for those clients who work on the move or for freelancers or contractors who visit multiple sites during the day.

Our users won’t be restricted to uploading files against invoices, as with other bookkeeping software. Instead, you will also be able to upload files against any type of transaction, so you can store your receipts however suits you best.   

If you’re not ready to add categorise your receipts right away – no problem! With our Receipt Uploads, you’re able to upload the files and then link them to transactions later on – meaning you can simply snap receipts and sort them out later.

We are also exploring an integration with Receipt Bank for those users who require OCR capabilities.
