Welcome to this update for July 2019 from the Senta support team. Here’s a bit about new features we’ve added, as well as any recent company news.

Practice user guide for the new client portal
As well as a client user guide for the new portal, we now have a guide and video designed specifically for practice users. The guide contains a detailed description of all features and includes a video that will give everyone in your practice a clear overview of the new client portal. This includes information about how to activate contacts to use the portal. Click here to view the new guide.
Our development team has been hard at work implementing updates to Senta. We think you’ll really like:
Assign tasks to client according to client-contact role
Previously client contact roles could only be used to choose who to send an email to. Now all client tasks can be assigned according to the client contact role. This means that you could assign a document upload task to the specific contact type you want to upload the document, such as the client’s bookkeeper.
Bulk snooze on task lists
You can now snooze tasks in bulk from any task list.
Calculated fields in forms used in tasks and jobs
Previously, calculated fields could only be used on forms on the client page. Now, they can also be used in forms that are part of a task or job. For example, you could calculate VAT return figures as part of a monthly VAT job, or calculate an AML risk assessment during client onboarding.
Show times in am/pm
Time in Senta can now be formatted to am/pm rather than the 24-hour clock. Just go to General settings > Display.

Improved client onboarding - professional clearance, engagement letters and onscreen engagement
Client profitability tools - reporting on which clients are the most profitable and benchmarking clients of similar types
Improved notifications - choose which notifications you receive and get them by email too
Adding ad hoc tasks to jobs in progress - offers more flexibility in the way your jobs run
Practice inbox - view any incoming practice emails and triage them accordingly
Senta user groups
We run a user group webinar every quarter, with the most recent one on May 9th. The next one is planned for early September. If you would like to be part of the next user group, please send an email to [email protected].
