Sage has extended its customer support opening hours throughout January to help accountants during this busy self-assessment period.

8th - 12th January:

9am - 6pm

15th - 19th January:

9am - 7pm

22nd - 26th January:   

9am - 8pm

Monday 29th January:     

9am - 8pm

Tuesday 30th January:

9am - 9pm

Wednesday 31st January:     

9am - Midnight

Sage Personal Tax Account Viewer

We’ve recently introduced our latest tool to access HMRC client data when you need it. Find out more about the Sage Personal Tax Account Viewer and view a step-by-step guide here.

Our tool is available to anyone, regardless of which software they use to manage client tax returns. The only information you need to take advantage of this solution are:

  • Sage One Partner Edition login (free to access)
  • HMRC Digital Tax Account
  • Form 64-8 authorisation from your client – HMRC tax data cannot be accessed until this form is processed

Sage does not have access to, or store the HMRC Government Gateway details. Any accountant with HMRC credentials can utilise the Sage Personal Tax Viewer to view details of the clients where HMRC have processed a 64-8 form for the client and agent. The Sage Personal Tax Viewer does not allow changes to be made to HMRC records. Other Sage solutions, such as Sage Personal Tax and Sage Payroll provide the ability to update HMRC data.
