See the Changing Face of Practice Management at Practice Evolution
ICPA members are being urged to experiment with new Practice Management technologies and meet the founders of Onkho at Practice Evolution Conference in Manchester
Merton: September 24th, 2018 – Practice Management is one of the areas of technology within accountancy practices that is undergoing a major change. In a new guide entitled ‘Practice Management and Digital Transformation for Accounting Firms’ produced by AccountingWEB in the United States, accountants are being urged ‘to experiment with new technologies and integrations to automate routine tasks through their Practice Management tool-set.’
This informative guide goes on to say that ‘Legacy systems that were developed in the 90’s are simply not up to delivering the elements that now really matter to accountants such as workflow management, messaging and email.’ To give this some context, the authors state that in the United States, ‘literally every Practice Management application used by more than five per-cent of firms was created 10 or more years ago and before Cloud-based applications became mainstream.’
There is no doubt that Practice Management is changing and one of the leading proponents for change is Onkho, a powerful Cloud-based system that has been developed in the UK and that maximises efficiency and delivers a high-level service for clients.
Onkho is giving ICPA members at the Practice Evolution Conference in Manchester on the 27th September the chance to see for themselves how Practice Management is changing for the better. Emanur Rahman and co-founder, Susan Rahman, who runs her own successful accountancy practice in South London, will be on hand to talk to ICPA members about why Onkho provides the perfect fit for practices of all sizes because everything in the system is customisable.
Emanur comments: “I am delighted to hear that firms in the United States are being urged to consider new and alternative Practice Management systems. We believe the time is right on both sides of the pond for a reboot and it is important to take a holistic view of the practice, clients, services, processes, staffing and pricing strategies and consider what level of automation and capability is needed. We are looking forward to talking to ICPA members at Practice Evolution and the event provides the perfect backdrop to consider how automation can help accountants to connect, manage and retain clients.”
Delegates can sign up for the Onkho Workflow capability for free and take advantage of a 14-day trial of the full tool-set comprising Workflow, CRM, Communication and Insights.
The Practice Evolution Conference is being held at the Worsley Park Marriott Hotel in Manchester on the 27th September 2018.
Onkho picks up where others leave off and addresses the challenges faced by today’s busy practices. It is the brain child of Susan Rahman, who has her own thriving firm in South West London and her business partner, Emanur, who was an accountant at the BBC and a CTO at the London Stock Exchange, to develop the missing technology piece in the practice jigsaw. Since starting to use Onkho, Susan's client retention has increased from 85% to 99%.
