What Can YOU Expect From Me In 2019?
The end of another year, and what a fantastic one it was.
2018 was a truly great year for me and my clients.
My Blackbelt mastermind and coaching programme saw a record number of new members joining. I’m incredibly proud to have members in my programme across four different continents and in seven different countries.
It’s so interesting to speak with clients across the globe and realise that despite being in different countries and different continents, the trials, setbacks and successes we all go through are essentially the same.
As well as growing my programme, I also acquired not just one, but two new accounting practices. One of these is in the Midlands of England and the other is in Scotland.
This takes me to a total of three accounting practices.
And for now, that’s enough.
I don’t have any plans to acquire any further practices in 2019 (or the near future).
For now, I’m switching my focus to implementing my own processes and systems within these two new practices. I want to spend the time required to get these practices set up and working in a way that I know is successful.
I want to use the same systems and processes that I teach my clients in my own practices.
It’s time to practice what I preach!
So, what can YOU expect from me in 2019?
1. Regular, informative blog posts and articles
Just like last year, I’ll be publishing two new informative and useful blog posts per week.
One of those will be posted directly to my website. You can keep up to date with this great content by bookmarking the following page https://www.rudijansen.com/latest-content/
The other one will be posted here to my new home on AccountingWeb.
If you’re not too familiar with my blog posts, you may want to start with checking out my top 10 most read articles from 2018 to give you a feel for the type of content you can expect to see here.
2. Brand new podcast episodes
Just in case you’ve been living under a rock, I also launched a podcast at the end of 2018 called ‘Accountants Talk – Secrets of Success’.
On my podcast, I feature interviews with accountancy practice owners from all over the globe where they share – you’ve guessed it! – some of their secrets to success.
Each interview takes a deep dive into topics that range from marketing, to recruitment, through to mindset and pricing, all whilst keeping it educational, entertaining and inspirational.
If you’re looking to learn some tips and tricks from those who are doing it right now, this is not to be missed.
3. The Progressive Practice Summit
In March 2019, I’m hosting the first annual Progressive Practice Summit and I’m so looking forward to it!
It’s set to be the UK’s first ever online summit that’s exclusively for progressive accountants.
The summit will feature seventeen different experts, thought leaders and influencers from UK accountancy who will be delivering value driven sessions. They want to share things that will really make a difference to how you work in your accountancy practice and shake up your business for the better.
The summit will be held from March 26 – 28 2019 and it’s completely free to register.
You’ll learn things such as:
- How to increase your fees and charge what you’re worth
- How to position and market your accountancy practice to generate consistent leads
- How to offer and sell advisory services with ease (and what these services actually look like)
- What technology and automation you should be implementing in your business to maximise efficiency
- And much, much more!
4. International speaking appearances
So far for 2019, I’ll be speaking on my Progressive Practice Summit in March, at Accountex in May, and the Practice Evolution conference in June in London and I’m currently in talks for several other events - I'll keep you posted!
Throughout the course of 2019, I’ll most likely be speaking at conferences across the UK, South Africa and even the USA.
5. More videos!
I have to admit, I hate recording videos!
BUT, the feedback from people is always overwhelmingly positive when I do venture into the world of video, so I want to continue to push forward with video over the next twelve months.
I’ll continue to let you know about what interesting things members of my programme are up to and also how I’m progressing in my own practice journey.
…And that’s it for now!
It sounds like 2019 is shaping up to be just as exciting as 2018!
