At Countingup final preparations for Accountex are well advanced. One of the items on my to-do list was a question and answer form that the organisers had asked me to complete as a guest speaker. One of the questions asked, “how important is Accountex to you and the sector”.
This is a great question. Having considered the hundreds of conversations I’ve had with accountants at Accountex over the years there was one consistent theme. The vast majority of the people there were there to learn about new technology and processes that would help them grow their firms and improve the services they deliver to their clients.
A large number of break-out speaker sessions are dedicated to winning new clients. With that in mind, I thought it would be useful to run a survey of the AccountingWeb audience and our very own Countingup partners to try and measure what the best method is for winning new clients.
With your help, we’re looking to measure what the most effective business development methods are for accountants. We’ll collate the survey and put together an infographic for you all ahead of Accountex. This information should hopefully be useful to you when deciding how to spend your time at the show.
