We’re always looking for exciting, inspiring, and thought-provoking speakers for Xerocon London to inspire you to make a change for the better.

From small changes like adopting new apps to a complete overhaul of your firm, we know that advice and motivation don’t just have to come from within our field.

This year, we have an incredible line-up. We’ll hear from British astronaut Major Tim Peake CMG, AI-focused CEO Priya Lakhani OBE, and Suw Charman-Anderson, the founder of Ada Lovelace Day to name but a few.

Taking place on 13-14 November at ExCeL London, here are just some of the must-see talks coming up at Xerocon London this year.

Day one (13 November)

Speaker: Priya Lakhani OBE

Time: 10:30 – 11:00 am

Priya is the founder and CEO at Century Tech, a company at the forefront of artificial intelligence and big data. The company aims to apply technology to understand how the brain learns, and to use this information to improve the way we teach. Priya is also a regular contributor to BBC News and was named an Entrepreneur of the Year in Management Today’s ‘35 Women Under 35’ list. She’s uniquely placed to offer Xerocon attendees expert advice on both the science of learning and advice on running a successful business.

Speaker: Suw Charman-Anderson

Time: 11:20 – 11:40 am

Suw is the founder of Ada Lovelace Day, the annual celebration of female computing pioneers. She started Ada Lovelace Day in 2009 as a response to the lack of women represented at tech conferences. Having worked in a STEM field herself, Suw understands the importance of role models for girls to support their study choices. We’re keen to hear insights from Suw about the role we all play in encouraging diversity into the industry.

Day two (14 November)

Speaker: Craig Hudson

Time: 12:50 – 1:20 pm

A former professional New Zealand rugby player, Craig joined Xero as Territory Account Manager EMEA in the UK and is now Managing Director for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. But getting there didn’t come without its challenges. Craig will share his powerful and emotive mental health journey and the lessons he’s learned along the way.

Speaker: Major Tim Peake CMG

Time: 3:20 – 4:00 pm

Tim was the first British European Space Agency astronaut to visit the International Space Station. Since returning to Earth, Tim has helped launch the UK Space Agency’s education campaign, which aims to inspire interest in STEM subjects. We can’t wait to hear from Tim about his incredible journey, the lessons he learned along the way, and how he’s educating the next generation.
