Companies House accounts e-filing has been relatively low key. But ‘low key’ does not mean lack of success. Far from it: recent statistics from Companies House show that overall nearly half of all accounts submitted are now being e-filed, using XBRL.

“We’ve been taking a very proactive approach to filing at Companies House in response to client demand” says Managing Director James Cryne.  “Our development team are in frequent contact with Jack Mansfield (Head of E-Accounts Transition) discussing the product rollout, filing statistics and the future developments etc… so when we were approached by Companies House to do a joint case study our Accounts Production users were very happy to be featured.  The positive comments speak for themselves.”

David Poole explains why he thinks electronically filing iXBRL accounts with Companies House gives Williams Lester Accountants Ltd an advantage over their competitors.
