Mazuma Accountants’ Lucy Cohen takes over the No Accounting for Taste podcast this week to discuss with a panel of influential women working within the profession how they’ve experienced unconscious and conscious bias day-to-day.

Joining Lucy Cohen on the panel are:

  • Jeri Williams, the founder of Smooth Accounting. 
  • Eriona Bajrakurtaj, the managing director of Majors Accountants
  • Heather Townsend, the owner of the Accountants Millionaire Club. 

In a wide-ranging discussion, the panel give examples of how they’ve experienced unconscious and conscious bias in their careers, explore why there are so few £1m female led firms and discuss what more can be done to make the profession more inclusive.
