The AccountingWEB editorial team will be your eyes and ears at AccountingWEB Live Expo and will be reporting on the latest news from the two day accounting extravaganza at the Coventry Building Society Arena. Stay tuned for the latest from the show floor...

Day 2 shaping up for more product releases

Unusually, Day 2 at the Live Expo looks like it will feature almost as many product introductions as Day 1, which offered up a substantial menu of CPD-accredited workshops and debates.

Editor at large John Stokdyk reports that BTCSoftware will be hosting Pixie CEO and founder Celso Pinto on its stand on Thursday to demonstrate the integration between their two systems.

If your one of those accountants wondering what's going to happen as sole traders head towards the new income tax regime in 2024, Open Banking specialist Coconut is planning to cater for this substantial taxpayer community with a sole trader tax solution. Rishi Brew Nak

1 Dec, 2pm: In honour of the Expo, we've brewed our very own lager - the Rishi Brew Nak. Grab yours now and enjoy our freshly canned liquid assets.

Following extensive user testing onsite at nearby Dhillon's Brewer, where it was brewed, seasoned craft ale experts we consulted pronounced Rishi Brew Nak "drinkable... very drinkable indeed".

If you're visiting the Expo on Thursday morning, feel free to ask for more detailed tasting notes. But maybe do it quietly. Thanks to everyone involved, including official after party sponsors Capitalise, Practice Ignition and AutoEntry for making it such a hit with the crowds.
