Chief financial officers want to work more closely with other departments to help improve their company’s performance but poor-quality financial data from IT systems is hindering corporate team work, new research says.
Around 83% of CFOs and other finance heads of large UK companies surveyed by Deloitte said that they were looking to increase their finance “business partnering” over the next three years. And more than one in three of organisations already invest more than 30% of their time delivering business partnering.
