Cheshire-based accountancy practice ClearSky Accounting is set to expand into legal services.

The firm, which provides accounting services for contractors, sole traders, partnerships and start-ups, wants to offer more services to small and medium-sized businesses including “niche” tax services.

ClearSky is now part of Optionis – a parent brand to three businesses: ClearSky; Parasol, which provides tax and payroll support to contractors; and Silverline, online sales software.

Parasol said that it will launch new services or acquire new businesses in services including payroll, audit and compliance.
