Content for the community guaranteed at Live Expoby
Meet the association partners for AccountingWEB Live Expo on 1-2 December, helping us ensure the conference programme works for you.
One of the things we're dedicated to doing at AccountingWEB Live Expo is making sure our content works for all our audience.
From the topics we discuss to the speakers we recruit for our panels, our live content needs to work for the whole community: practical, relevant, engaging, expert and worth your time.
That's why we're working with the leading accounting associations. As well as proposing speakers and topics based on their own agendas, our partner associations vet all the content we programme to ensure its meeting the needs of their memberships.
If you're a member of any of these associations, you can be confident your requirements will be met by our conference programme. Every association has an advisory board member, each representative with equal weighting to ensure that as many accounting professionals as possible are having their needs put forward.
Here's who we are working with:
ACAPP: The Association of Certified Accounts Payable Professionals (ACAPP) is the world’s leading professional body for accounts payable and procure to pay professionals. As the only organisation in the UK offering Accounts Payable and P2P specific apprenticeship courses, live training and online certification, qualifications from ACAPP are accessible to all.
ACCA: ACCA believes that accountancy is vital for economies to grow and prosper, which is why it works all over the world to build the profession and make society fairer and more transparent. It has more than 219,000 fully qualified members and 527,000 students worldwide and is among the world’s best-qualified and most highly sought-after accountants.
AIA: The Association of International Accountants (AIA) is a global membership body for professional accountants, which promotes the concept of ‘international accounting’. It has created a global network of world class accountants in over 80 countries worldwide by offering high-quality, relevant and innovative qualifications.
ICB: The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers is the largest bookkeeping institute in the world. It promotes and maintains the standards of bookkeeping as a profession through the establishment of relevant qualifications and the award of grades of membership that recognise academic attainment, working experience and competence.
ICPA:The ICPA was created by small practice accountants, is run by small practice accountants and is trusted by 1,200 small practice accountants. Help, support and unrivalled knowledge of this sector has aided us to develop the massive range of small practice specific benefits that ensure accountants need never say “I don’t know where to turn”.
CIPP: The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals is a chartered professional association in the United Kingdom, representing payroll, pensions and reward professionals. It has 9,500 members, and is officially registered with the UK government for providing training, higher education and qualifications.
BASDA: As a UK trade body, BASDA operates through representation and collaboration to ensure that the voice of the UK business software industry is heard by some of the highest levels within the UK government, policy-makers and industry media.
Make your voice heard and let us know in the comments below what you would like to see at the Expo.
As the next few weeks go by, we'll add more and more speakers - all representing the members of those associations, their concerns and challenges going into 2022 and, of course, you.
