Former BDO chief executive Jeremy Newman has been appointed as non-executive chairman of international accountancy network TCS Global.

Since leaving his previous role with BDO International last year, Newman has built up a portfolio of influential positions, including chair of Audit Commission and non-executive director at the Crown Prosecution Service.

This month, he also became a non-executive director of the The Social Investment Business and a trustee of its parent charity, Adventure Capital Fund.

At TCS Global, he joins a new, international accounting network formed last year by UK accountancy firm Taylorcocks and French firm Soregor.
