Hillier Hopkins creates wealth management arm

Accountancy firm Hillier Hopkins has created a wealth management offshoot to meet growing demand for giving financial advice to rich families, reports Nick Huber.

Satis Asset Management (SAM) provides asset management and tax services to Hillier Hopkins’ existing customers and new customers. The firm used to provide advice on wealth management within its general practice.

SAM has about 130 families on its books. A typical customer has investable assets of between £500,000 and £10m.
