More than 60 individuals and organisations are on tenterhooks this week as the Accounting Excellence Awards ceremony nears. There’s not long to go now as, thanks to Covid-19, our Virtual Awards Night goes live online at 5pm on Wednesday.
Pull up a chair, grab a cup of tea or something stronger and join us to discover which firms, suppliers and individuals have excelled at serving their clients and the wider profession during a year like no other.
Covid Heroes of 2020
After introductions and a comic turn from Naomi Cooper, the announcements will range across the new, small, medium and large firm awards to fast track, client service and digital firms of the year. There will be three new Covid Heroes of 2020 to unveil at the ceremony, honouring the efforts everyone involved in the profession put into helping businesses survive this year.
We will also be announcing the winner of our Outstanding Contribution Award for 2020, for someone who has made a massive impact on the profession not just this year, but over many, many years.
The experiences and ideas shared by all our entrants are what make the Accounting Excellence Awards so important. All of our finalists can inspire other accountants with the things they have done to survive and thrive in difficult circumstances - so the whole profession can up its game.
Meanwhile, the winners of the 2020 Software Awards are being announced at 2pm each day this week. The winner of the hotly contested Practice Suite of the Year Award will be announced at the virtual event.
We are proud to share the limelight at the profession's most prestigious awards with all of the partners who make the Accounting Excellence Awards possible. Thanks to ACCA, ICB, ICAEW, Xero, FreeAgent, Sage, Cashplus, Practice Ignition, WorldFirst, BASDA and PracticeWeb for your support!
