The Practice Excellence Awards have been inundated with client feedback, and is on track to receive more than 1,000 responses by the 26 August deadline.
More than 70 practices, including small, mid-sized and large firms, have entered the awards which are being sponsored by IRIS, Sage, and CCH. Business and private clients of these firms have so far submitted more than 900 completed questionnaires, and with two weeks to go, the numbers will continue to rise.
Participating practices will each receive a tailored benchmarking report comparing their results against their peers. The strong response to the survey will ensure these reports contain compelling insights on how well practices are meeting client needs – based on first-hand feedback.
Around 62% of respondents have given written comments both positive and negative, covering:
- fee levels
- responsiveness and reliability
- being a pleasure to deal with – the personal touch
- steering clients through the bad times
- over-reliance on paper
- frustrating processes
- losing information and making mistakes
- even the poor quality of receptionists!
The Practice Excellence Awards client survey will close on 26 August and phase two of the process will follow in early September, when the top firms in each category will be invited to submit their entries to our panel of expert judges. The top three firms shortlisted in each category will then go forward to a final vote among AccountingWEB members. Those who win will have undergone a complete 360-degree assessment by their clients, accounting experts and their peers.
All those who take part will benefit from the best practices and client client feedback collected. Visit the Practice Excellence Awards website for more information.
