International Women's Day 2020

As a profession, accountancy has come a long way in terms of diversity, equality and inclusivity in recent years - but it still has some way to go.

The need to both celebrate our progress but take stock of our need for equality is highlighted by International Women’s Day. Whilst the percentage of women across the professional bodies has never been higher, there is still work to be done to right the wrongs of the past.

Lucy Cohen's excellent article International Women’s Day: Let's be allies not only shows a way forward for gender representation but how accountancy can be a true force for good in a way that benefits everyone, no matter what your business or gender. Take a read, have a think, leave a comment and let's try to progress the debate for all.
