You’ve read his Excel tips. Now you can see the man himself deliver exclusive spreadsheet webinars for AccountingWEB members in a series from transatlantic trainer David H Ringstrom.

A long-time contributor to both the US and UK AccountingWEB communities, Atlanta-based Ringstrom has also delivered interactive, online Excel training for several years. During the past two months, David has signed up with AccountingWEB to deliver regular, professionally accredited CPD-lectures to our members. The webinars are free for AccountingWEB users, thanks to sponsorship from US software house Surepayroll.

The High Impact Excel series started in December with a 60-minute overview of some of David’s favourite tips. Since then he has moved on to financial reporting and analysis using Excel PivotTables.

The next session on VLOOKUP will take place at 9am on Thursday 27 February.

The American arm of Sift Media, AccountingWEB’s owner, is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors; individual courses are authorised by individual state bodies. But if your professional body is happy to accept independent documentation of course completion as evidence of your CPD, you can listen to David's live webinars and enter a key that will generate an email confirmation notice of your participation.

Afterwards, however, the seminars remain on public view on AccountingWEB.com and can be accessed by anyone. With David’s permission, we plan to include occasional edited highlights in AccountingWEB.co.uk’s Excel Zone and will keep you posted on future topics.

Do you find online webinars useful for CPD? And would you like to see similar initiatives on AccountingWEB.co.uk? Let us know by commenting below or, even better, suggest the topics that you would like to see covered and we will try to fulfil your needs.

The hyperlink to 'David's favourite tips' is not working.
