As professionals we "expect our clients" to be honest with us; we take care to examine the information they send us, to satisfy ourselves that the information we obtain to complete their accounts, VAT Returns, PAYE records and the like, are true and accurate. Why is it then that we are "questioning" our values in relation to our dealings with "our fellow professionals". I was always brought up to believe that "honesty is the best policy" and a matter of professional courtesy.
