No, not on CGT.
That's why I asked the question.

You are right not to touch SageOne - disaster. Cannot amend a transaction if it has been VAT &/or Bank reconciled. No year end routine.
Be also very careful of Sage Hybrid Cloud on v24 using Sage Drive. Clients computer has to be on and you can't do a year end on the accounts at your end as it won't update. A pity because v24 is really quite good.
I am trialling QBO at the moment on my own accounts - reserving judgement really. A few colleagues who's opinion I respect seem to like it.
I've used Kashflow quite a lot - poor reports, VAT return doesn't even have the company name on it. Can do stuff quite quickly. Don't delete any previously VAT reconciled transactions as it will let you and then screw up your VAT control account. Very good if you have CIS though. But also cannot allocate a payment to more than 200 invoices.
Xero I've used a bit - just seems unnecessarily fussy, having to allocate credit notes to invoices and the like. Cannot allocate a payment to more then 50 or 100 invoices. Good for multi currency.
Haven't really found anything which ticks all the boxes unfortunately. You do have to tailor your choice somewhat to the individual client.
FreeAgent seems very good, quick to code lots of similar transactions from bank feeds. And amending transactions also very good. But cannot alter balance sheet codes and predefined asset codes doesn't even have "Plant & Machinery" as an option and you can't add it !
Clearbooks also worth a look but again had issues customising the nominal ledger - you couldn't get rid of Ltd Co specific codes like Share Capital which you don't want if it's a sole trader.
Of course some of these issues might have been resolved in recent updates, trouble is you can't continually "trial" all the different software as you'd get nothing else done.
I'm surprised there isn't a forum on here where the various merits and demerits of each piece of software can be aired and discussed.

Yes, been doing battle with Digita over how to get rid of these so-obviously-unnecessary disclosures on the filleted accounts. Apparently I am also now a programmer as well as an accountant.
Makes me wonder what I am paying for too - a letter to Digita is under concoction.

I am starting to delve into Digita in earnest now and - oh my God - could they make it any more convoluted and hard to find things ! You have to set up users and passwords everywhere, common settings are buried so deep in bizarre menus you have no hope of ever stumbling across them yourself. They are the experts in taking an extremely simple and quick task (such as knocking out a basic tax return) and adding about a thousand mouse clicks and an unnecessary hour of my time, ticking schedules off as being completed etc. Seriously thinking of staying with BTC PM Solution as I can do a tax return in seconds.
Digita's Accounts Prep and CT does seem good, but as someone else said, these are all different modules - I even had to sign up for and get a new program just to file accounts with Companies House !
This is really not the software for a sole practitioner.
To reiterate what others have said though, the tech support people are really helpful and almost always you get through to someone right away. But it seems I am onto them every 5 minutes just to perform the simplest of tasks.
Here is an example. My partnership tax return was failing validation as there was no Nominated Partner signatory name inserted. So another call to Tech Support, this is what I had to do:
Go into the Practice Management module
Select the client
Go Edit > Client Details > Edit
Click on "Relationships"
Right click on the partner you want to sign
Click Show Details
Tick a box entitled something bizarre which you would never guess was anything to do with what I was looking for ! (and I was just looking at the software to find the name of this box when it crashed on me with an "Unhandled Exception" - and this is a brand new PC !!)
I wish I had stayed with BTC, certainly for personal tax. I still might do so actually. Digita is properly painful.

I have now signed up for Digita, and have been waiting to hear back from them about importing my data from BTC. I have signed endless pieces of paper, they wanted me to sign yet something else for this free service, I then had to wait for the signed copy to come back, I then waited over a week to hear back about them doing the import - they have just suggested a date of the 22nd July. Regretting it already. I was on a webinar with another one of their "customers" and she had had the software for 6 weeks and hadn't yet got as far as being able to file a tax return ! Very very worrying.

I am interested in Digita too
I use a combination of Caseware for Accounts Prep and BTC, but the lack of integration is driving me nuts now and Caseware are a disaster at the moment.
I have just spoken to Digita to get a price (as Iris were on another planet) and wondered what other's thought of it.
Thanks in advance.

Would you recommend Digita ?
Never really looked at it.
What does it cost (roughly ?)

I didn't really need to update to FRS102/FRS015 as all mine are "small", and really regretting I did now.
I have got 2 sets of accounts on the go, and it takes 3 days for them to call back.
Having said that, each time I have emailed to suggest they really need to call me back now, I seemingly get an phone call almost instantly.
I am doing pretty simple accounts, and am struggling.
I have finally got to the stage of generating the iXBRL and it isn't tagging the company name or period end date.
I also have a filing deadline at the end of this month for one of them, so will be getting cross come Monday if I haven't heard from them by the close of play.
I did call Iris with a view to changing over, but the cost of that is plain bonkers.

FRS implementation dire
I have used Caseware for a couple of years, but recently made the mistake of updating to FRS102/FRS105.
What a disaster.
It's hopeless, and they take 3 days to return your calls. Then you get one problem answered, they clear off, you get to the next stage in the prep and you hit another problem, another 3 day wait. I have a filing deadline at the end of this month and am getting concerned I am not getting this sorted by then.
Feel a letter to their MD coming on.

I was staggered at the price of IRIS
I phoned IRIS this week for a price for their software, it was coming out at between £4,500 and £5,800 per year (and there's just me !!)
My combination of BTC and Caseware costs me less than £1,300 a year.
I don't know how they get away with it really.
(Sorry, I know that doesn't answer your question - I just wanted a rant !)
