Hi Chatman,
Apologies if my comment offended you, I was purely adding to the fact that we as of now do not have an import tool for transactions even though we have brilliant pricing.
Regarding the 9-10 new care agents, as with any recruitment drive, at times people who start a new job may have delays in their recruitment due to work period notices. Initially there will be 9 new employees with the additional 1 once he's worked his full notice period from his previous employer.
I must now respectfully retire from this conversation before it starts to heat,
If you're looking to connect an inventory Mgt Solution with an accounting software, you have great choice at present. Most cloud providers have 'apps' or 'add-ons ' which connect with inventory packages. The question is....with so much choice which one do you go for? and which one is the best out of the 100 that are listed...?
In addition to this, if your client is price sensitive, you can check out QuickBooks Accountant discount, which makes it significantly cheaper for you to purchase QBO so the burden of cost for the accounting software with Add-ons isn't as much.
Great to hear that you're considering QBO, The Videos will help to get a good insight of the product. I also recommend you take a free trial if you like to play with the product.
Ill try to answer a few of the points above, Thank you Sol for the feedback here,
Barclays Bank: We do connect to Barclays Business and Personal via the auto bank feeds, If you have any issues with your connection the Support Team will be able to arrange a call back with our Bank Feeds engineer to get that fixed.
With Barclays Business, you can also download the statement in CSV or in .OFX format. In QuickBooks Online (QBO) you get the option of 1) Auto connection 2) CSV upload 3) .OFX upload.
Data Import: SoL you're spot on here, this is something I'm very passionate about, imagine the brilliant pricing and the product that is QBO without the ability to import Transactional data in to QBO!, good thing is, we are actually VERY close to getting this sorted (next few months - at latest), Send me a direct message if you're interested in being in the BETA for the tool we are creating.
In addition to the above, you have Free payroll for some of your small clients (up to 5 employees) with PaySuite which Intuit covers the cost for, Its a great integration where the look, feel and data movement all happens in a seamless manner.
Support Team: We have listened and we have reacted, so far we have quite a sizable number of staff supporting QBO in London Victoria, just in the last 2-3 weeks we have recruited 9-10 more QBO service staff, nearly doubling the number of Care Agents in our London Office. We have been careful in the quality of staff we recruit hence we have actively targeted AAT , ACCA foundation completed reps who want a long term career with Intuit.
I also recommend you take the Free QBO certification either via Webinar or Face to Face with our lovely trainers to get some hands on training with QBO
Just wanted to Clarify that with QuickBooks Online (QBO), you get Payroll Free for up to 5 employees. Intuit Covers the cost for the first 5 employees for all QBO Users. After the initial 5 employees you pay Paysuite £1 per month per employee if you want to add in more.
We looked for the best in class cloud Payroll provider so The payroll solution within QuickBooks Online is 'Paysuite'. http://www.paysuite.co.uk/
It's fully integrated within QBO, its RTI compliant, all the journals are created in QBO when you carry out a pay run and all the relevant reports (p32's) are updated and can be downloaded, Payslips, Net Pay reports are all present within QBO.
Regarding Support: It's totally free support.
Pricing for QuickBooks Online: If you join the ProAdviser programme (Free to join) you also benefit from getting QBO Plus (retails normally at £29/m) for £4.99 per month for life.
So in other words, if you want to use a cloud accounting solution (QuickBooks Online) with Free Payroll up to 5 employees (PaySuite).... all you will pay is £4.99 per month.
