its safe to say the bigger the company(or PLC) such transprency rules will just lead to more lack of reporting by the big boys who can tick all the boxes through opaque reportage, as they do already with a large number of audited entities.
so the rules will just lead to more rule avoidance and planning and the beating over the head of/increase in SMES compliance obligations.
and is not devoting skilled staff to tax avoiders claiming overseas status of one sort or another

this ridiculously pecuniary penalty rule was thrust on an overseas client of mine for 10/11 with daily and three monthly penalties being wacked on totalling 1200 when the liability was nil!....
of course my reasonable appeal was rejected -maybe i should have been alot more unreasonable with the department!!!!!

-there is certainly an unreality to the terms in the public sector pension schemes BUT theres an EVEN BIGGGER UNREALITY-in the MEGABUCKS which no doubt are being paid to contractor -management consultants-at HMRC- and MANY LOCAL AUTHORITY "chief executives" with non-job names being paid more than David cameron the PRIME MINISTER.....
its quite clear the powers that be in white hall(including the (former) director of the failed border angency have no desire to listen to hard working staff at the coal face-maybe managers and consultants should be asked to spend at least one day a week at the coal face in call centres however capable or incable of handling calls they are.......
ARE THERE NOT ANY MORE FLAT RATE EXPENSES RATES? FOR THE IGNORANT( WHO CHOOSE NOT TO ADOPT THE ACCRUALS/UK GAAP BASIS) AND DO IT OFF THEIR OWN BACK RELYING TOTALLY ON HMRC OPINIONS?
sums it up mr mischief the more political interfering in the tax rules in at attempt to "make it simpler" and in fact the whole thing is made more complicated...!!!!!!!
its now more than 6 months since we heard from the inspector on a case we threatened to take to tribunal then-they have gone totally quite-its quite clear where there is incomplete process and an old style inspector they will shy away from the case if you threaten to take it back to tribunal.
