Thank you cparker87, very appreciated. There will not be any movements since my company stopped trading on 31 March 2015. So my last accounting period will be form 1 Jan 2015 to 31 March 2015? If I inform HMRC now that my company stopped trading will they issue notice to file company tax return just for those few months? And what about CT600 that I can download form my HMRC account? Will it be just for those few months? Normally I would need to wait for such a notice until the end of a full accounting period (12 months).
Any advice would be appreciated, I need to close my company down and want to do it correctly and not to get any penalty. Thank you in advance
Thank you guys for your reply, I do appreciate it.
The company was incorporated and started trading over one year ago, and was issued UTR number, however I don't have all the letters the company received from HMRC. In July this year the company received letter form HMRC telling that on the information they have the company appears to be inactive and therefore does not need to file a Company Tax Return. It seems that the company wasn't registered for corporation tax when it started trading.
Will that be ok if I register the company for corporation tax now?
I have been using SA Submission Pro for almost one year working for my boss, it's quite easy to use. The software actually does tax calculations for you and filling. What software would you recommend? I am disappointed with the SA Submission Pro Support, emailed them twice and still did not get any help.
I set up sender credentials using User ID and password to login to HMRC, in addition they asked for Agent ID and other details. I filled in all the required fields and still can not send tax return. annoying

notifying HMRC about final trading accounts
Thank you guys for all your replies.
I have one more question please. I need to notify HMRC that these are the final accounts and that the company will be dissolved soon.
"File your accounts and company tax return, stating that these are the final trading accounts and that the company will soon be dissolved."
I am using HMRC software downloaded from their website, is there anywhere I can put those information or I rather need to write them a letter.
Any advice would be appreciated, I just want to have it done and sleep well.
