CIMA finalist Emanur left accountancy for investment banking technology over 20 years ago. But being married to sole practitioner Susan Rahman of KWSR & Co meant he had to keep his hand in....firstly as free IT support (!) and then as co-founder and CEO of onkho, the practice management solution that integrates email, CRM and workflow.
Before founding onkho, Emanur was a Chief Technology Officer at The London Stock Exchange Group and held various senior technology, change and transformation roles across top tier financial institutions. He brings a unique perspective to onkho and practice technology, combining in-depth knowledge of accounting, running a practice, technology and change.
My answers
The answer lies in the genealogy of these platforms. They were built for project management. But they will work for you as well. You should think of a project as a bucket into which you record time. While the bucket might be called a project, you can simply think of it as a client.
Separately do you mind me asking why you track time? Is it for productivity or for billing or both?
Yes, you're quite right.
Onkho and right now, basic workflow is free.
It's just a different and at least in our opinion a fairer way of pricing. If you have 100 clients and need 4 seats you'll find we are cheaper than your example. Happy to have a call to explore your thoughts some more.
Also traction is a closely guarded secret most of the time so I'm intrigued by your conclusion. Onkho has customers and is getting positive feedback as well but we're just not shouting about it....yet.
Hi there, sorry you're not getting the help you need. As Mark says, we're super friendly and ready to help! You can find a whole bunch of material at https://success.onkho.com, you can email us at [email protected] and you can chat to us from inside the platform as well. Most importantly, we are real people and when supplied with a telephone number, will talk you through anything you need :)
