Blogs about my week in a boutique practice. My independent channel: https://accountantblog.co.uk/
Hi Glenn, thanks.
On QB, if I think it is suitable it will be putting new clients on it. The existing clients will stay on Xero.
I agree with your point with all blogs displaying the click rate. Technically, this is easy to do. Sift sees the click rate. Why not us? Why is Sift not making this information public?
We give up our time and draft a blog and yet we cannot see our click rate. This is not fair and does not encourage people to blog.
Tom mentioned about asking him the click rate on our own blog. This misses the point. It is about looking at the click rates on other blogs and comparing the click rates. This is to give some idea on the popularity of blogs section and what is the click rate on our own blog.
Why is click rate not public Sift? why are you not being transparent with your members?
Thanks for not advising me on how I should run my practice.
I think we have the best type of work because of the flexibility it offers.
I do not relate to the problems in the article. Not of all of us have the skills to run a practice. My advice to the person would be best to move on and found alternatives like employment.
MTD is not a huge issue as it is made out to be. After the set up, it should be okay.
No purple or that envelope in the picture? I thought the walls would shout the brand. Not very Mazuma picture. It could be any other office. Branding/PR opportunity missed.
Thanks for very helpful feedback. It has made me question my decision. A major plus of sharing my views and thoughts.
I will make an assessment after QB certification. It will give me a good idea whether to promote it to clients. Sure, I will report back.
Sift PLEASE sort out the blogs section. Someway to know instantly who has posted the blog. Also subscribing to a blogger of choice. This way email is sent when a blogger posts a blog.
What is the concern about showing click rates on blogs?
Editorial decisions, as opposed to readers choice, is so much heavier now with the now so not new site. Real shame.
This is a step back by HMRC. .
Hi Glenn, I like the idea of branded reusable water bottles. I will look into it. I wish I had thought of it earlier.
I want TaxCalc Practice Manager to be good. TC is very late in this game. I hope TaxCalc Practice Manager has done a massive catching up with the likes of Accountancy Manager before releasing this software.
I think times have changed. People no longer want to work their backs sides off for an employer.
It is probably because they are many other employers with whom it does not involve working all the hours given.
