Who is it for ?
You might be overwhelmed by the number of templates.
Who is the audience for your business plan ? If the plan is not for your own benefit then speak to the intended recipient(s) and ascertain if there is anything specific you should be focusing on. Then take the simplest template and modify it to suit.
In addition to above - keep it focused and concise, illustrate you have adequately taken account of the risks to the business, include a contingency and don't forget to attach a cash flow.

Sky boxes need filters also!
There are a lot of things which can cause this problem, some common causes are below -
1) A dodgy ADSL filter, try replacing it and see if that helps. Or if you have other phone extensions replace the filters on those also.
2) It's an enviromental problem with wireless, try plugging your PC/Laptop directly into the router and then see if the problem still occurs. If not then it's a wifi problem. Could be someone else is using the same channel as yours. Try changing the channel of the router from the default one to see if this helps.
3) If it's not wifi and still happens when you are plugged into the router. Then it could be the router, but as you say that you have replaced that then sadly you are at Demons mercy.
The above are the usual causes - also check the back of your Sky TV tuner - if it's plugged into a telephone line it also has to be via a filter.

In addition consider after sales support (outside of warranty claims) - Apple support is both sparse and expensive relative to Windows support. Suggest you check if there is support near you and their costs, before you proceed.

Is there a theme developing here ...
From comments so far, for accountants in industry it is not valued and or resented, and for those in practice it appears to be more valued.
I always thought those in industry would be a lot happier, and more loyal, if they paid a great deal less than those in practice as a basic annual sub and then paid fees for any support as and when required.

Re: taking stage profits
Suggest you need to know absolutely everything about the "sale" of the property before you can make a decision on how to account for any of the associated revenue in advance of completion. This does not just include the sale contract but also any related contracts, side letters, you even have to ask if there have been any verbal agreements. You also need to ascertain if the buyer is credit worthy for the total sums involved.

Kryton has the correct answer - please heed his advice.
I remove infections from many computers and my findings are that the free ones (AVG and MSE) are as effective as the paid for ones for everyday use but also often consume less of your computers power.

Computer records & VAT
RE: Computerised records - they will ask for downloads of the database (for example in CSV format) so that their computer guys can run their own software on the data which will reconstruct the purchase and sales ledger elements of the VAT return for them to compare with your detailed workings - you then have to produce your reconciliation of the differences - you do keep those on file don't you!

Try Safe Mode System Restore
Sometimes you can get around a virus by starting in "safe mode" (repeatedly tap F8 key after power-on but before you see Windows startup screen), login as administrator if available otherwise your normal user name, then run system restore (explore the start menu - all programes - etc to find it), restore to a date before you noticed the virus. After that, and before you do anything else, run a virus scan.
If the virus will not let you run system restore in safe mode, you need to use another computer to download to a USB memeory stick a program called Rkill from bleepingcomputer web site. As above start in safe mode, run Rkill from the USB memory stick, if a window pops up claiming rkill is a virus leave it open and run rkill again, run rkill 2 more times then run system restore and the remaining instructons above.

Take care if using removed disk method
Please note - If trying the remove disk method mentioned above (buy the neccessary USB adapter on-line) be aware that some viruses will attempt to infect the host machine when you plug it in (M$ has recently released a patch to disable autorun to help avoid this. Auto update will have installed it if switched on) - make sure the host has an above recommended virus scanner with bang up to date definitions before you start.
