We've been using Glide for a while now and wouldn't be without it. It is extremely flexible for setting up different workflows for different processes and situations - you need to be quite a logical thinker though to get the workflows set up well.
Support is top notch - both during set up and afterwards.
If you receive the invoice before the stock arrives, then you legitimately have a Dr balance? We see this quite a lot when goods are bought from China and are invoiced and paid for well before the stock arrives.
We moved at the start of May and I wrote to them then. Had heard nothing by the middle of September so wrote again and then finally had a response last week. I don't know whether that was to the first or second letter though...
@innkeeper We could get the mail directed for our own company name and that would sort some of the problem, but we also get loads of PAYE letters addressed to client company names - and I'm not sure it was worth the re-direction fees to add all those companies too!
The second move will be within the same set of offices, just to somewhere bigger - could only get one of the smaller offices at the point we needed to move!
We moved office the beginning of May and wrote to the them the same day. We also made the foolish mistake of changing our company name at the same time.
Records still not updated, every time we phone up on behalf of a client we don't know if it has been actioned or not, so have to go through a conversation 'You've either got us as this name or this one and either this address or this one...'. And we have to keep going back to our old office to pick up all the post.
We're likely to move again in a couple of months time...goodness only knows what will happen then.

via TaxFiler and got a response from HMRC, so everything looks OK here too.
