When I was PQed I remember reading an article stating the ratio of ACCA students to members was disproportionate. It concluded it was because people not seeing any benefit, not necessarily because of their clout or kudos.

I seem to recall some people buying motorbikes as plant and equipment and getting 100% AIA! As you say, keep a mileage log.

We do. Something along the lines of the directors are charged at a commercial rate.
Surely you can't transfer the gain until it is realised by sale?
Have it in cash, you don't pay tax on that?
